Level 2/3 students have been discussing how to be a good friend in their unit on social justice this term. After brainstorming words describing friends, what friends do and how friends act, students made some friendship stones using stones from our Discovery Garden. Many decided to give their stones to their friends when they finished creating them.

Fantastic Idea! This is something I plan to do with my daughter this week, though she is only 3.5yrs old so we will do picture representations instead ~ thank you!

Thanks Amy! Check out our older students rock painting for our Peace Garden too. Our little students have also made some cute little painted rocks and hidden them in the garden for another student to find...and then they hide them for others to find! :)
Have fun...rocks provide a great starting point for many art works!
